after my first two kit builds, i started getting excited and i decided to mod my crybaby with whatever information i could get on the interwebs. first, it became true bypass, which was definitely the most effective. after that, i replaced a resistor near the inductor with a pot to adjust Q. this didn't actually do that much. finally, I added a 4 position rotary switch to swap between 4 filter caps for different tones. this was pretty cool, but not overly useful.
i eventually gutted the whole thing to use the shell for something else.
